practical tips on beginning and ending a meditation practice
Each of the Naampedia Symbol Report includes several meditations that are most beneficial for that particular period, deflecting negative influences and bringing out the positive aspects of that planetary energy. During a particular period, choose one of the meditations that feels right for you and work with that meditation for the 52-day cycle. Be consistent, and do not overdo it by practicing all of the suggested meditations.
How to begin a meditation

It is important to tune in before you begin. Tuning in with the Adi Mantra quickly centers yourself and opens the protective channel for energy to flow and tunes you in to the Supreme Consciousness. Breath gives power to the mantra, so always chant after taking a full breath through the nose. |

Sit on the floor with legs crossed comfortably, maintaining a straight spine and relaxed shoulders. |

Press your palms together, and place you hands at your heart center with the thumbs at the sternum. |

To end a meditation
| Bij Mantra |
It is important to end each meditation by tuning out with the Bij Mantra. Sat Nam is the Bij Mantra, which means “the name of God is truth”, “true identity” and “Truth is my identity.” |
